We have 2 school winners!

Sisters Karyli (5th grade) and Mikayla (2nd grade) have won the book fair gift certificates for $5.00 each. All throughout the month of March--since March 9th, when the SC Book Award winners were announced--the library has sponsored a contest. The contest asked students to simply tell Mrs. Nelson (me), the library media specialist, the winners! This contest was announced daily on our school news program, and advertised with other annoucements. Finally, the school decided to bring the parents in on the contest, and it was published in the school newsletter. The school newsletter (published monthly) was sent home in the Wedensday Communication folder on March 28. March 29, we had our winners!! Thanks to prents reading our newsletter and sharing information from school events, these two sisters, Karyli and Mikayla, now have earned $5 worth of free books from the book fair. The book fair visits Northside March 23-27. Congratulations Karyli and Mikayla (and mom too!)
